📱 Android Setup — 5 Easy Steps
⬇️ Step 1 — Download the App
1

Tap the button above to download

The file TruthVault-VPN.apk will download to your phone. Watch for the download notification at the top of your screen.

2

Allow installation from this source

When the download finishes, tap Open. Your phone shows a warning — this is normal for apps from websites instead of the Play Store.

What to do: Tap Settings → turn on "Allow from this source" → press back → tap Install
Why is this safe? We distribute directly so we can keep prices low. The app is completely safe.
3

Open TruthVault VPN

Find the gold shield icon on your home screen and tap it. Sign in with your email and password — or tap Start Free Trial if you're new.

4

Tap CONNECT

The app shows a big CONNECT button. Tap it. Your phone will ask permission to set up a VPN — tap OK.

✅ When you see CONNECTED with a green dot — you're protected!
5

You're done! ✅

Your internet is now private and secure. You can leave the VPN running all the time — it uses very little battery.

To disconnect: Open the app and tap DISCONNECT
To switch servers: Tap Server Picker and choose a location
❓ Common Questions — Android
🤔 The app won't install +
Make sure you enabled 'Allow from this source' in Step 2. If the option doesn't appear, go to your phone Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps → find your browser → turn it on.
🤔 My internet feels slow after connecting +
Try a different server. Tap Server Picker and choose a server closer to your location. US Dallas is great for streaming.
🤔 The VPN keeps disconnecting +
Go to phone Settings → Battery → find TruthVault VPN → set to 'Unrestricted'. Android sometimes closes background apps to save battery.
🤔 I forgot my password +
Go to https://truthvault-vpn.com in your browser → tap Sign In → tap Forgot Password → check your email.
🤔 I see a key icon in my status bar — is that normal? +
Yes! That's Android showing you the VPN is active. It means the app is working correctly.
⚠️
Your browser may warn about this download — that is normal.
Chrome and Edge show a safety warning for all new VPN software — including major brands when they first launch. This is a standard Windows security feature, not a sign that anything is wrong.
What to do: In Chrome/Edge, click the ⋯ (three dots) next to the warning → click Keep → then Keep anyway. The file is completely safe.
💻 Windows Setup — 4 Easy Steps
